Help on Spits..........

Just wondering on the different on turn ratio, engine power , guns etc. on the different spits.
Any who knows that

Well, I can help to some degree, but I need a bit of a frame of reference.

Basically, the Spits are planes that turn well, climb pretty well, are medium fast, and have good guns.

The Spits have very good energy retention as well, and make fantastic dogfighters.  The Spit V is one of the best turnfighters in the game, but is slower than most of the other planes.  The Spit IX is faster and climbs better, but doesn't turn as well as the V does.

The 2 Hispano cannons make the guns on the Spits very potent.  You are limited in terms of ammo load though, so be sure to get in close and make your shots count!
