Can't get into arenas after downloading patch 3

I go online, then get the little screen showing ping rates and people in each arena.  I then try to access an online arena and I get kicked out to my desktop every time.

This problem never occurred until I downloaded patch 3.

What can I do to solve this problem?  Thanks in advance for your help.

I have no problem with my password and username.  They work fine.   I just get kicked out to my desktop instead of being allowed into a specific online arena.

Had nothing to do with Firewalls!!! Ran dsl direct with virus off and not through router. I Uninstalled the game that I had been using for 3 years before this last update and did a reinstall. Now all works. I saved my old settings in a sepearate file away from HTC folder before the Uninstall. Then after had it back put the settings folder I made into the new downloaded one so didn't have to reset all the controls. The glitchy has something to do with registration or .exe file??? Got tired of waitn for a fix so tried the dump and it worked.
