REALLY odd mission bug
« on: December 03, 2004, 07:42:33 PM »
JB42 was in the air and a mission of just spitfires showed up in the mission planner. he was able to delete it, but her swears he never created it (wouldn't we are luftwaffe only squad anyway)

about 3 min later this mission showed up in the planner:

something shady is going on LOL

he was flying the whole time when this mission popped up
I don't know what to put here yet.

OK... here is the story.  WMDie was trying to figure out the mission planner (blamin this one on you bud ).  Anyhoo,  he found that you can make missions for someone else... So, I decided to have some fun with JB42 (all in good fun of course).  BTW, throw out that Email about AWind, he had nothing to do with it (poor guy, lol).  Anyways, here is what I put up.  Enjoy :D :

JB42 could obviously delete them:

Just to show that I fessed up and that it was all in good humor :D

OK.. now the pics work.  Btw, JB73 was telling AWind that he should have done an N1K mission.  That spoofed mission was mine as well (the "I heart N1Ks" mission), but JB42 dropped that one so quick I couldn't even get a screenie :(

me??? blame me?? no no no

you could make mission in someone elses name in AH. it is a feature allowing, someone in the air ,to do the planning while radioing the plan to someone in the planner. the one actually making the mission can credit it to the person actually planning it.

I was just checking out the differences between the old planner in AH, and the one in AH2, is all.  tested it using something like porkypig or daffyduck in planner, only with a short time to get in before it ups and times out for joining. just to see how it well it works.
was the only times I ever used it in that manner.
