Wireless ISP and AH
« Reply #1 on: December 30, 2004, 06:47:26 AM »
Hello-
I use wireless ISP ( AVRADIONET ) and have had some very good results with AcesHigh Servers and game .

There have been on-going and continule  real problems with SAVVIS.NET  and my wireless ISP with connectivity to the AcesHigh servers, POP3 email  and the internet and general web-surfing . .

My wireless ISP has just Fired SAVVIS.NET for lack of performance as a primary "Bandwith Provider" and has switched to Verizion's Backbone  ( GTE )  . This has been a vast improvement for my ISP and it's dependability .Large  Packet Loss with SAVVIS.NET is the Norm , SAVVIS.NET flat sucks ! and was  cause of almost all ( 99%) trouble encoutered here in playing AcesHigh in past 11 months .

My best advice I can offer is to run a long  PingPlotter Test and see if Savvis is the main or primary "Bandwith Provider" for  your local wireless ISP ?  . If it is,, chances are Savvis.net will "screw you and your game play up bad ! "  Savvis is The King of Dropped  Data and Lost Packets....

 I hope this helps .
