Dialup still viable?
« on: January 16, 2005, 11:08:59 AM »
Haven't played AH2 and I've recently moved and now only have dialup available. IS dialup still a viable way to play AH or does AH2 really require broadband to even the playing field?

Although there are minor problems such as GVs uping and fireing before you see them all in all I dont seem to suffer from alot of the variables on the net that high-speeders complain about. I use a local ISP that puts me straight on the web. AOL was running me from GA. through Long Island then on the net. You can also try anything thats free for a month and ping plot/trace to see what work best. I hear framerate is lower but since my eyes work at about 24FPS(I  think) 30FPS in a furballs fine with me.
