Nah, maybe 3-4 years, but when it starts to go down hill, it surelly goes fast, I tell you.

Agreed, They might be a very special case in history of music, but I can bring a lot of other samples, I´ve seen the most and worked with a lot.

zulu..have no idea what you are talking about but your slavish devotion and defense of all things left wing and effeminate is getting boring.

jakal... my tastes in music are probly not so far off of yours.   I like outlaw country the best... I give credit to redheaded stranger and admiot that willie mad som great stuff... pancho and lefty is a favorite.

It's just that I really really can't stand some of the guys "ballads".... endless weeping tomes.   I think that the statement he made in an interview once summed up the man... When asked who he liked to listen to for enjoyment he said "me".

That would explain his endless and painful to listen to ballads.

Willie is a song stylist. Stardust is one of my favorite albums.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

well.... whatever a "song stylist" is.... I don't care for it.   I like some of his earlier stuff when he wasn't weeping out the tune tho.
