Patch 2 is now available for download through the auto-updater or on the download webpage.  The update from Patch 1 is 10 MB.

Version 2.02 Patch 2 Changes
======================

Minimizing the game while the cache is generating now cancels that operation.  This was
causing corrupted cache files to be generated.

Made a change to how the icon system works.  Enemy plane types now have two different icon
modes.  At long range, the general plane type is displayed.  At short ranges, the icon
switches to a specific type that identifies the plane's subtype.  E.G. a Spitfire IX would
display a "SPIT" icon at long range which turns into "SPIT9" at close range.

Fixed a problem in the skins system that was causing some players to disconnect upon entering
the arena.  It now may take 10 to 15 seconds after logging into the arena before skins are available
in the hangar.

Changed how cumulous clouds are displayed to give a better appearance when you fly through them.

The turn indicator now works like a real turn indicator.

Changed how the slip indicator works.  It now functions like it should rather than as a slip string.

Fixed incorrect spawn point placement in the hangar.

Planes no longer kick up dust when sitting on the CV.

Bailed planes that hit the water now create a splash rather than an explosion.

Fixed a bug that was causing the target in the .target command to destroy a terrain object when hit.

SBD aileron trim now moves in the correct direction.

The bailed out pilot now has separate mappable controls in the keymap and can fire his weapon.

Fixed a bug in the film viewer that caused a crash when hits were displayed.

AA and flak now shows in films.

Gunner positions and vehicles now display correctly in new films.

The playback speed slider now works independently of the main playback slider in the film viewer.

Added a guncam view in the film viewer that hides the cockpit/plane.

When a film file is first opened, it is no longer displays the tower view.

Changed the layout of the playback buttons to be more intuitive.

Fixed stability problems in the functionality of the playback slider in the film viewer.

The new effects in 2.02 now show up correctly in films.

Films no longer start with an engine start-up sequence when your engine is already running.

Films are now defaulted to not use recorded views.  There is a checkbox to turn on recorded views.

Voice playback is suspended during fast forward and rewind operations so that they do not buffer up when play
is resumed.

Bombs and other ordnance now originate from the correct points when viewing a film.

Playing a film in which you do not have the terrain downloaded now defaults you to an empty terrain.

Fixed a display problem in the B-26 that let you see up through the waist gun positions through the plane.

Fixed a sorting error with the SBD insignia.

Updated bomb craters and fixed a problem with flickering craters.

Changed the armored glass on the P-38G.

Instruments on the P-38s are brighter.

Antenna wires disappear when the stabilizer they are attached to is shot off.

Fixed some non-visible shape errors in the P-47s that could possibly cause hits to score incorrectly.

Changed the motor characteristics of the WGr 21cm rockets resulting in a shorter flight time.
