Letters from the Earth
« on: February 23, 2005, 08:40:42 AM »
Anyone ever read this?  It's by Mark Twain and if I remember right.. his family resisted ever releasing the story (after his death) because of the viewpoint it portrayed.  (which is ironic in itself since that's one of the things that made him great)

Well?
what the hell does he say in it?
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

DREDIOCK.... it's Satan's viewpoint, of man's relationship with God, as a corresponder of letters to his buddy's (the other archangles) in heaven.

Mosgood, it seems you're a fan of Twain, as am I, but another good read along the lines of the book you suggested is Dialogues With The Devil , by Taylor Caldwell. It's been long out of print, but you might find it at your local library.

Thanks! Amazon has it.... I put it on my wishlist until I have finished the book I'm reading now.
