Beta 9 released

A new version of the beta is available for downloads. Please see the previous news posts on the DX8 beta if you are trying it for the first time.
The download is about 660KB and is located here: http://downloads.hitechcreations.com/AHDX8BETA9.EXE  

This version fixes the frame-rate cap.  If you're getting some blue flashes in your video, try capping the frame-rate and let us know if that fixes the problem or not.

That's the only change in this version.  If it doesn't affect you, you need not try out this version.  Thanks.

Amendment- sorry for the confusion, you should download and try this version if you've had video glitches or you've had to disable fast vertex processing to run the beta.  If you've had to disable fvp but took a major framerate hit, try enabling it again but also cap your framerate.  This should bring your framerate back up to a high level.
