CTD's plus more
« on: April 14, 2005, 10:38:41 PM »
I had two occurances of the "AH has experienced a problem
and has to shut down".

I have NEVER had that occur with AH before!!

I flew all afternoon in the CT with no problems.

Left and saw I needed to d/l the patch. Did that then
later went to SEA for Coral Sea practice.

Within a few minutes I got a BLANK BSOD!
Hard lockup...had to do a hard reset.

Tried to re-start AH after the reboot and got an IMMEDIATE BLANK BSOD.
Another hardreset required!

I deleted video.cfg and then restarted AH ok...went back to SEA
and shortly got the "AH has experienced..." message.

Took a hard reset, although I was able to ctl-alt-del to
the program manager, I had no cursor and
couldn't "quit" AH. Another hardreset required!

Went back to SEA again and after a few minutes had a CTD. Went back and got another "AH has to quit" message.

This time I had a cursor when I ctl-alt-del'd out
to the task manager and was able to quit cleanly.

I had one more CTD and aftyer that one was able to
stay in the SEA for an hour or so.

Never..I mean NEVER, have I had these sorts
of problems with AH.

This really does not bode well for the Coral Sea
frame 2 on Saturday...at least for me :(

HTC picked a pee-poor time to mess with something
that WAS working....
