I doubt that there will be many countries in the world that won't have lost some of their citizens to this horrendous act.

The amazing thing is that this act will probably show these kinds of numbers for many more countries.  A few such as England and Germany may show considerably more.

The vast majority of victims are Americans, however:

100 British confirmed dead, Straw says that it will likely rise to the mid-hundreds.

75 missing Australians.

100+ missing Japanese.

Who knows what the final toll will be, but one thing is certain and that is that we are united against these f@#&*r's.

I heard that atleast 1/3 of the both towers were able to evacuate before they came down. At best survivors of those towers were from 60-70th floor as ive understood. Most of those "just in time" survivors are in hospital right now, 1700 of them, 200 in critical condition.

Whats very sad is, that the only survivors found from the site have been those few cops and firemen 30 hours ago.

The people in the second tower were told to stay inside in order not to get hit by debris from the first one. That would have been the right decision but for the second plane.
Also, many people who exited the buildings must have been hit when they collapsed.

It's hard to even think of the final number.
