Windows Media Player Screen Printing

Hi every1 , am in dire need of ur help    would u pls tell me HOW I can , whilst watching a .wmv movie , after pausing the action, be
able to PRINT the screen I paused ??

I pressed the "PRINT SCREEN" numerous times on my keyboard but w/o success.   I'm doing something wrong but have no idea
what?!  

Pls help .... thx.

When you hit print screen it will not print to the printer.  You need to open and application like Word or the Notepad and paste the sceen shot on the page.  Once it shows up there you can print the page.  I hope this helps.

Hello    TY 4 ur promptness in responding to my query, seemingly
I missed something whilst attempting to follow ur instructions, to
wit I :  (a) right clicked on the WMV film choosing Notepad, then I
   
           (b) ran the movie stopping at screen I wished to print

Now I ran into probs unable to find "Paste" in order to paste the
screen shot to the page (Notepad)

Would u pls clarify as to what my misunderstanding was ??  Ur
courtesies & assistance are invited.

OK Happy, here we go...

1. run your film and pause it at the picture you want.( you may want to enlarge the "player" window by clicking on the corner and "dragging" it to get the player window as big as the screen.)

2. Hit "print screen"

3. Open a graphics program. I tried it with windows "paint" and the "film" portion of the screen didn't show, but with my "Paint Shop Pro" it did. A decent and FREE art program is Gimp. Just run a search for it thru Google.

4. Once the graphics program is up, click on "edit" then "Paste" or "Paste as new" and it will load your Screen shot you took when you hit "print screen"

Remember you can only do one "print screen" at a time as it replaces the one before it and holds only one at a time, same as when you "copy" a line of text for pasting else where.

In my work I have to make a lot of quality screen prints. I use Screen Print Platinum. They used to have a free version, but I just checked their website, it seems to be gone now. There is a free trial version.
