Holy crap.. I've been running in 1280x960.

I just checked my wwiiol.cfg file and seen that my res was set at 1280x960x16, even though in settings.exe it was set at 1024x768x16.  I don't see how I ever missed it.

Checked to see what kind of fps I would get, and my fps almost DOUBLED!!!  I went to the same place OFFLINE, and was getting 22-26fps at 1280x960, switched to 1024x768 and now I'm getting 42-48fps!

The only drawback is that things are not as sharp now.  I will need to make my own res like I did in Aces High.  I was running at 1216x912, which is a really good compromise. Gives you the quality of 1280x960 while keeping the same fps at 1024x768.  

Haven't tried online yet, but my guess I won't see less tahn 25fps.

how do you make your own res in AH?

Regedit.  Go into localmachine/system/currentcontrolset/services/class/display/0000/modes/16 and right click on 16.  The add a new KEY. Just type in 1216,912.  Or any other workable rez.  I think you have to add multiples of 8 or 16 for both x and y rez coordinates.  

Also, the 16 means 16 bit color mode, if you run in 32 bit color, make sure you add a new key for the /modes/32 section.

Now, go inot the video cfg file in AH, and just manually type in the new video mode. They will not show up in the AH video settings config program, nor the WW2ol Settings.exe program.
