Found some docs at the National Archive -
DSIR 23/12562 - Spit IX effect of clipping wings.
DSIR 23/12925 - Spit clipped wing rolling performance
AIR 64/2 - Comparitve trial IX Vs XVI
Anyone who lives around the National Archive and wouldn't mind getting copies (pref adobe) I would gladly re-imburse. (whatever is easiest, Paypal etc).
Might help to show the XVI didn't have a 5700fpm climb rate. (which we need to show to get 25lbs boost).
Get to see exactly what clipping a wing does overall.
Maybe also
POWE 33/596 - Aviation spirit: blending surplus 100/150 Grade into 100/130 Grade.
To prove sufficient stocks existed for 25lbs boost.
Thanks
