There is a pretty large number of ex-Air Warrior folks hanging out on a news
server maintained by the Kraits squadron.

Set up a new news account with "news.kraits.org"

The newsgroup is "bigweek.general"

Folks like GE, Moggy, GB, Sharkbait, Hardrock, DD and a few others from the
Kesmai SVGA AW DOS era. Even DoK has been hanging out there recently and BB
has posted an eloquent eulogy for AW.

I wish they'd put an Ex-AW channel in the MA so my buffer wouldn't get clogged with crap about how great AW was.

AW isn't good, i was round at my mates house,he had a copy he got budget, i played it,and it sucks

AH isn't good, I play it here with AW gone but in the end it just sucks.

Depends what you mean by "Good" ..
AH- has better eye candy --
AW-- gave birth to AH --

Like all peeps who enjoy these Air Sims, it was the people who were involved, that you got to know.. It is not just that the game was shut down, it is that there are friendships lost..and people are feeling that now..So lamenting is normal..I am sure that if you enjoy this game so much..and financially it fails--read the papers-no not the comics-
but the business section ..you probably would feel the same way.. I have noticed how in Aces High, as compared to AW, most Bishops don't know most Rooks or Knights or Vice versa..But in AW you were friends with all (well maybe not the constant whiners

)
That is something you would miss too...
And IMHO the two games are a lot more alike than most will acknowledge..

We need an ex EAW channel too. Not to mention one for those of us who pr0n surf during climbouts. We really need pr0n IN AH too.

And, a web browser.

Would be nice to have lots of other stuff too.

But pr0n is most important.
