Offline: changable time constant
« on: September 11, 2005, 06:42:55 PM »
Since the update, sometimes the apparent prgram speed has been increased significantly -- ie 200 mph moving as if substantially faster, drones doing the same; time to altitude being much shorter.

It's actually been nice for offline practice, amking me react and line up shots under much more realistic time constraints.

So here's my suggestion: could the Arena Settings be expanded to give control over a "time constant", allowing the user to enter a decimal value multiplier for the speed at which all objects move? I woiuld definitely use it....

for those of us who remember the days of "Chuck Yeagers Air Combat", Turning up the speed when flying against 15 mig 21's in your wing of F4's was just a blast, and seemed more real considering the speeds involved.

It seems to me Air Warriors biggest attribute was an apparent realistic in-game speed. If we can't have it in the MA, what of making the 'speed multiplier' available in H2H as well as offline?
