I predict frustrated drivers breaking windows, pointing their fingers at each other, and shouting "Bang Bang!"
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

In england?

would 'owned' be the right word for the subjects of the crown? (not meant as an insult to the subjects.. we're headed into a similar oblivion over here)

I predict Big Business, OPEC and the Governments, winners by a landslide, with shares in Public Transportation stock showing huge gains on the Big Board.

I predict the government will continue to walk all over the people.  That's what happens when you have no tools of revolution.

You mean like what happened at Waco, lasersailor? Or Ruby Ridge?

Or Lazs, when you talk about the stronger hurting the weaker, do you mean like the conditions in the Superdome during the New Orleans disaster?

Interesting rose tinted spectacles you have there, lads.

I predict an extended tea time to discuss the situation.

Over the past 20 years the overall cost of motoring has in real terms, ie once inflation is accounted for, remained at or below the 1980 level while bus fares have risen by 31 per cent and rail fares by 37 per cent. The real cost of motoring fell by 4.8 per cent between 1997 and 2003 but during the same period the cost of travelling by train rose by 3 per cent and the cost of travelling by bus rose by 8.2 per cent. Fuel duty is higher in the UK than most other EU countries but the full basket of motoring taxes, including fuel duty, purchase tax, Vehicle Excise Duty (the tax disk) and road tolls, is about average.

Well, if indeed it is the case that the current high prices are due to a bubble caused by speculation on oil futures, such sorts of blockades could indirectly have an effect on prices. But probly not

dowding... I don't know what you are talking about...  are you agreeing with me that the weak will be hurt by the strong?   I know that I sure as hell wouldn't have been a victim at the superdome... or anyone around me for that matter.... Unless I was somehow dissarmed.

In england... if you don't like being mugged or bullied you can simply run away.  It they let you...
