This page contains a six and seven minute movie (Real Player) of the launch of the Mars Odyssey probe.  This is the first time I've seen a camera attached to the rocket; in case anyone else has never seen that viewpoint I figured I'd post it here.  It was pretty cool.

If you really like to see that stuff id recommend THOROUGHLY you look out for a series called 'The Trip', either on video or your TV.  Its some of the weirdest movie footage of things like this, and many many many more really weird experiments (psychoanalysis, pigs at ground zero, old 'duck and cover' ads etc etc etc) to a background of strange and decent music.  Turn the sound down if you dont like it.

The movie footage is astonishing.
