So we have our air show this weekend and some of the warbirds are arriving from chino. Was cool we had a formation flyover of about 10 zeros (or jap type planes) that were blowing smoke. Saw a mustang as well....

BUT,

There's one I couldn't Identify and it's killing me. I don't have a picture of it but it was a navy prop plane, had a tricycle landing gear and was a two seater. I was thinking it was an old trainer or something. ANyone got any Idears?

That could be it. Is the landing system a three wheel/non-tail dragger?

The only thing I hate about Airshow weekend is the amount of work we have to do.

Not only do we have to De-Arm all of our static display A/C we have to do all of our friday and monday work on friday to "get ahead" so to speak.

Then there's all the food booth and parking details we get voluntold to do. Next time you're at a military base Air Show take time to thank the volunteers/tolds

Probably one of the coolest displays is the last public showing of B52 008 or "balls eight".

The T-34 is the only Trike Geared two seater with a prop the Navy used as far as I'm aware.

Maybe a T 28 This is an Army one but the Navy had them.

Yup T-28 it is. Got a second look at it and noticed the canopy was different. Got to watch a P-51 and F/A-22 do a flyby during rehearsal.
