Vox quitting? Try this!

MCIwave.dll is the file that controls the amount of memory used to buffer audio data for both playback and record. I have noticed that in intense furballs, my vox drops out. I suspect that it was a buffer overloading.That buffer is controlled by MCI Waveform listed as MCIwave.dll
 Most often MCI Waveform is set to 4 seconds or so. You can increase that amount if you like.


Goto control panel/choose sounds and audio devices/click on the hardware tab and highlight Media Control Devices. Click the properties button/then hit the properties tab at the top. Highlight MCIwave.dll and click properties button/then the settings button and move the slider to a higher setting.

I set mine to the maximum 9 seconds.

Vox drops have ceased for now!:aok

If not MCIwave.dll,  the file will likely have wave as part of its name and should allow the buffer to be increased in that list of .dll files
