2112 in the CT

Back in the CT.
Well the last 2 nights the 2112 Warhawgs, formally VMF214, formally 78 Duxford Eagles, went back to the CT to give it another try. All the fights were great and loads of fun.
The first night was a test to see how and if things had changed. The dogfights were fun and worth every sortie. I changed sides for 2 sorties to mess with my squad mates and it was still a blast.
The second night was trying to get other squad members to come back. This seems to be getting a bit easier. I could only stay in there for 2 sorties, but the second one was the best. We took IL-2’s and tried to attack the fleet. Well we got spanked, someone was using laser-guided ack!
I can’t remember everyone that was there, but thanks for the fun. We are currently looking into setting up a squad night for the CT. Is there a normal night (it used to be Thursdays) when other squads are flying? Most of out squad can do 10 pm flights, though because of my commute I have to be off at 10 pm (working in Detroit I have to have my preflight and weapons check done before I go to bed).

great fun seeing you guys.  you certainly are playing very effectively as a team. IMO  this is exactly what the CT may well need to thrive. a few dedicated squads whose members like flying together and do so more or less competently.  You guys sure did a good job of keeping us from upping last night.  for my part I'm looking forward to seeing you guys on again soon.  JG54 is on every night starting from about 2000 EST.

My secretary just came into the office to see what I thought was so funny.

And who says Storch can't be restrained when he so chooses?

I saw an episode of Southpark the other night, that reminded me of Storch.
It was the one where the kids were waiting to see a Terrance, and Philip commercial. They had to sit through an episode of a Russell Crowe program where he traveled all over the world finding people who " Like Ta Fwight" insert aussie accent.

Thats Storch to a tee. He's not a bad guy. He just  Likes Ta Fwight. In the air on the BBS, no difference. By gawd he's gonna fight.:lol

Phaser what nights you guys flying? I'm going to reopen my account this week. I figured once TOD comes out no use in being completely rusty.

Well,
We will probley be in and out everyday. I'm hoping for Thursday at 9 or 9:30 PM. Would be a blast to fly together again. Also as the numbers change, we might split up to keep them even.
