The Sens are a hockey team, eh?... The Senators... they are... in Ottowa... and when a NHL team gets like the best season long w-l-t record, they are presented the President's trophy, eh?

But Canada has a Prime Minister, so it a little confusing.

This is what happens when 'skill' hockey is played and not the 'goon' hockey like the Maple Griefs play.

Sandman, why is that?

I find it massively ironic that the season after Martin is fired the NHL switches to a hockey that is more in line with his style.

Old Kings/Ducks rivalry thing that spilled over into Ottawa the other night...

It's a given that anytime the Kings face a Murray team there is going to be friction. Andy Murray and Bryan Murray pretty much hate each other.

So... add to that... One part Dominik Hasek who likes to dive and the Senators love to push opposing forwards into him so he can then flop like a fish. I swear, Hasek will flop anytime someone breathes on him. Add one part Sean Avery who will not stop until the whistle is blown EVER. Sure, Avery has a mouth and an attitude, but I don't think there are many players that skate as hard as he does. He leads the league in penalty minutes, but I think at least a third of those are simply on reputation alone. Add one part Zdeno Chara and one part surprised Tim Gleason.

And... you get a $10,000 fine for Bryan Murray for being a salamander.

Oh... I also found it interesting that Murray pulled Hasek off the ice with just minutes left on the clock. I think he was worred about the so-called "dominator" getting his bellybutton kicked.

The Senators are probably a fine team, but as long as Murray is with them, I hope they rot.
