Stuff!

At last the stuff I ordered from Manions Auction House came trough from toll checks and stuff!

I am now proud owned of:

MG 131 13.0 mm AP round + case
MG 151 15.0 mm AP round + case
MG 151/20 20.0 mm HE round + fuze igniter + case
MG FF 20 mm HE round + fuze + case

Most of them even have original painting. Fuzes have been artificially fired but otherwise rounds appear as they were shipped from factory.

Now I have most important LW cannon armament rounds   Of course MG 151/20 AP round and Mk 108 HE round would be nice...

Collecting this stuff should be classified as mental illness!

Jochen, when you are able, could you photograph and post these casings/shells standing next to a US .50 Cal casing for reference? Thanks...

PS... collecting specimens of all fighter aircraft guns and cannon in use by all powers... wow - that would be a worthy hobby. Is that what you are doing???

I will get new digital camera soon (maybe as soon as today) and I will post pictures of them as soon as possible!

It would be nice to have one of each MG and cannon round used in WW II but that might be bit too hard and expensive goal... Most common rounds used in ETO would be sufficient for a start
