Apollo 17 returned to Earth from the moon to end the Apollo Program. For those of you too young to witness first hand the magnificent achievment of Apollo, you'll get your 'Apollo' in 2018 when NASA plans to return to the moon.
When you consider that Clinton was president 13 years ago, the next 13 years will pass in the blink of an eye. What I wouldn't give to be young enough again to make my life's work and purpose focused solely on being one of those fortunate few who will, once again, set foot on the moon. For me, the Space Shuttle never held the fascination of Apollo.
