Bringin back the G-10
« on: December 31, 2005, 04:40:49 AM »
would appreciate bringin back the G-10, it's speed was what made the 109 a survivable aircraft, but since it's been removed 109's seem to be average speed an poor turning aircraft.

why remove a aircraft anyway more is better in this case, isn't it?

I understand K-4 was supposed to replace it, but 1 30mm is tough to deal with.  IMO It's like a yak but without the turninig ability to line up a good shot.

30mm cannon is not even as good as a yak IMHO.  Rate of fire was adjustable IIRC.

You want the "real" 109G-10 back?  Sure i want it back but it will NOT be as fast as 109K-4.  109G-10 is still one of the fastest 109G series.

The "real" 109G-10's top speed is 427 mph. she is slightly slower than 109K-4 (452 mph) and slightly faster than 109G-14 (415 mph)

:)

NO I don't want that!   I want the g10 we had back.  Take the k4 and toss it if it's only gonna have that stupid 30mm on it IMHO.

I'm not sure what the cause is, lag, my connect, packet loss, the way the smoothing code is working, or whatever, but when I fire the 30mm the rounds go ALL OVER the place.  Bad enough that I see cons warping around so much and usually only after I've saddled up on em, bad enough that when I pull the trigger I see mini warps just enough that I miss em, bad enough I chase a con low only to see em go underground and come up somewhere else 2  or 3 k away, add in the way the 30mm seems to be modeled and ugh lose it I won't miss it, not even a little bit.

When I had the 3 20mm option and the miniwarps happened I could still hit with the 2nd burst and sometimes I even hit a little with the first burst if I had the convergence set right and the angle on the con just so.  Lost allot of kills because of the mini-warps and such.  Only got assist or damaged em enough they rtb'd.

Starting to think there is a fault in the synchronization factor of AHII.  One persons FE says he/she is 100 to 300 yards higher above the ground on his machine then he is on mine?????  Or maybe just 20 yds higher.  But it allows them to dive so low that on my machine they're underground while on their machine they're just above the deck.

Had a couple of collisons I rolled to avoid and on my FE I missed em by a good 20 yds but on theirs we hit!  I usually take damage in those and I go down missin a wing or something on some of those :(  Even though on my FE it looked like we TOTALLY missed one another.  Granted not by much but we missed.   And I've had collisions from the rear that I didn't see but ................

It's all very frustrating.
