I'd rather see something done about oscarhole friendlies who drop into your guns to cut you off and grab the kill themselves.
Like, earlier today I'd lined up on an ElGay, had him in my convergence, (~D350 so it's not like I'm chasing him from 1k out at this point) and RIGHT as I pull the trigger some ******* killstealer drops RIGHT into my shot, and I'm only sitting D350 off the target's 6! I don't mean that he came in from the offside and started shooting, I mean he LITERALLY dove into my guns to cut me off!!! I almost frelling killshooted myself because of that salamander.
Now, SOMEHOW I still got the kill on that ElGay (apparently enough of my burst must've gotten through to mess him up good) but that still pisses me off that I almost kill myself because of him (only a couple pings, but still). I try HARD not to do that myself, and try for an angle that either cuts off the bandit's escape route and forces him to turn, or gives me a deflection shot without blocking the guns of the other guy (unless I've already been working over that particular target. Then get the frell out of my way!)
How about a way to "call" a target that, for a set period of time, makes him vulnerable ONLY to your guns? Like, 5 seconds would be enough. Set some kind of condition, like, withing x amount of distance, and he has to be in your forward view. You don't get him within that time period, or he gets out of view or beyond a certain range he's fair game. And you can't "call" again for a set period of time to keep guys from continuously calling a target to keep him unavailable to other players.
