Kind of like St. Patrick's Day, but less politically correct, less celebrated in England - and we don't get a public holiday!
If you say you are proud to be Irish, Scottish or Welsh, you are seen as patriotic.
If you say you are proud to be English, you are seen as an ultra-right extremist and oppressor of the so-hard-done-by Welsh and Scottish.
