So you go through your day doing what you do, not knowing that others fates can affect you. 4pm portland time I decide I want a king stacker from burgerking. I am playing DOD:source though, I play 15 minutes more, decide I am getting hungry, at 16:16 I say one more spawn, then I will go get my burger. at 16:18 some gimp ganks my bellybutton from a hidden position, pissed off at him I respawn and granade his camping ass, at 16:31 I drive to my local burgerking and notice a huge accident that just happened. I mean the Lifeflight heli lands before my eyes.  While I am walking out to my car, some chick is dying. :(. Maybe if that gimp hadnt camp I woulda been in the middle. or woulda seen the whole mess happen. What sucks is some innocent chick died, and the cause of the accident has minor injuries.

I was supposed to get drunk with a friend sunday night, and have him drop me off for class early this morning, since he lives on the other side of this island.
Class is at 8am, drivetime is 1.5h, so we'd've left around 6am to accomodate hangover lag, which would've been right on time to get migraine relief courtesy of a 7/8-ton boulder that came off the seacoast highway cliffside:

6 people hurt, 5 critical.. glad it's not me.

edit- it actually fell off the night before, I guess I'm not playing Powerball after all..

Totally unrelated - http://www.myadfind.com/videos/Accident20060210.wmv
The guy was telling the cop taking the report that the rider ran into him long after he'd stopped.

I'm glad you guys missd those accidents but the burgerking is killing you slowly in it's sweet time.  that plastic food is clogging your arteries slowly but steadily.  American fast food is the nation's leading cause of death by another name.  we never allowed our kids to eat that stuff much and never ate it much ourselves.  if you become accustomed to eating quality foods that stuff is actually nauseating and easy to avoid.

I got on a health kick, starting about a month ago and cut way back on hamburgers and fried foods.  This weekend I was out of town at an all-day volleyball tournament and didn't eat anything except Instant Breakfast and Powerbars.  On the way home I was starving and ordered a Happy Meal with 2-for-1 hot apple pies.  4 hours later I had the worst indigestion I've had in a looooong time.

Needless to say, its going to be awhile before I get another Happy Meal.
