as i was reading a topic where kamikazies and the lack of attrition was brought up i thought about this, "why dont we have a limit on how many times u can die before you cant up anymore?" and make it so that it slowly regenerates over time. this limits those "suicidial 110s that destroy all the guns on a cv" as was said in that topic.

you could make the death limit like 50 and regenerates 1 every say 10 minutes.

what do you think?

No. This would make vulching squaddies as an exercise in score-padding far too difficult. The MA is fine as it is in that regard.

The reason they won't do this is because when you make people wait to play your game, they leave.

I don't pay 15 bucks a month to sit around waiting to fly airplanes.  I don't think many people would want to.  There are far to many games I can pay $15 a month and play right now...

And that, is the most likely reason this suggestion will never happen.

Not a bad idea on the surface, but Kurt's right.

The reality is that as soon as I can't up a plane, and have to wait xx minutes...I'm gone.

Suicide griefers, like real kamikazes, will have to be defended against as is.  5" guns do very interesting things to 110's  

Just remember, not all suicide dives are intentional.  Get a hot-shot like me on the stick, and I'll compress beyond all redemption as often as not.  I can easily be mistaken for one of those types, while I'm actually just not very good!  :D  

No "Banzai" here...more like "Baaahh! Not again!", followed by a loud bang.
