I hit 'Back' after adjusting my video sliders and game crashes. This has been a problem for over 2 years now.

Just encountered this while climbing out.

Was in P-51D, 75% fuel, 4th Fg skin. In autoclimb from ?61 on baltic, headed NE, full throttle. Opened clibboard, settings, icons --- messed with colors for enemy 1 clibboard ( from pure yellow to orange and back again), then squad icon (moved from purple to yellow, checked map, went to orange). When hit back to check map again, got hard lock, black desktop, and windows error recovery dialogue. Sound continued despite message that AH had to close. Task bar was visible. After about 10 sec, the rest of desktop (icons etc) retuirned and sound stopped.

Running Windows XP home 2002 with current updates, Pentium 2.8 gHz, 1GB ram, NVidia GForce 6600 GT with driver version 7.7.3.0. Sound through SoundMAX Integrated device.

The key to this is to duplicate whats going on. If you can do that and reproduce it regularly send what you do or did to Skuzzy at support. I had this on film and sent it in but it seems that doesn not help to narrow it down at all.

Mine happened after I adjusted the gamma in video settings.
