this is a winge and I do not mind admitting so BUT IT IS A BIG WINGE

I have ben an avid fan of Aces High for 6 years or more.  I grew up on warbirds 2 in 1997, a programme, of which, HiTech is aware of.   I state this just to establish my credentials, that I am not a newbie to Aces High.  I will also admit that I am the worst pilot in the game.  However after actually surving combat and approaching a friendly field devoid of enemy and making an approach to land to be shot down by a tree in the landing approach just does not seem right.  Please bear with me in this winge.  Had the tree been apparent from 50 yards I could have avoided it and gone around. This tree appeared out of nowhere when I was committed and had no room to manauvre around it.  IF YOU MUST PUT TREES IN THE FLIGHT PATH, SO BE IT, BUT, PLEASE,!!!!!! MAKE THEM OBVIOUS, EVEN TO A PC WITH 20 OR LESS FRAMES PER SECOND

This post should prob be in the 'wishlist' post.

I tend to agree that trees shouldnt really be in the flight path espc some ive seen are all but at the end of the runway. Having said that, ive never collided with one on finals, the runways long enough to put the wheels down 1/3 down the runway and still have plenty of room to pull up even the heaviest bomber.

Try an aproach which sees you put your wheels down 1/3 the way along, that should keep you well clear of trees.

Question to anyone...Is winge another word for whine?

Trees are a problem at end of runways from heavy bombers also.

They should let you use perk points for chainsaws....

You could cut them trees down whenever ya like!

Oh btw....I am not a fan of the errant tree but have learned to live with it.  I think when there are "bad" trees...and skuzzy knows he cuts em down

Quite right guttboy.  We went through a lenghty deforestation effort some time back.  If I missed a tree or two, I do not mind going back and correcting it, BUT, I need the field number and the name of the terrain it happened on.

Email is fine for this.  If you feel the need to bloody your fingers on your keyboard, you might as well make it count.

That is right.  Fixing the invisible trees would be just wrong

New to the game i had problems with invisible trees.

up until  someone helpfully told   me to   hit  full vis range and crank  the ground detail slider.

shift + f1 for full vis  and  video settings for  detail.

hope this helps
