2 Tuneable Radios
« on: March 27, 2006, 12:20:19 AM »
My wish is for another tuneable radio.  If you're in a big squad, one channel is not enough on big missions.  I think you should still be able to tune in "range" if you want, even as a default, but it'd be nice to tune that radio to a second freq.  Don't know if planes in WWII had two radios or not, but if they did, how 'bout letting us tune off of "range" when we want to?  That way, you could tune into a channel for the mission and have another channel for the elements:  bombers, escorts, goons, etc.

old post from 2004

I've been toting this banner for several years now, never have gotten more than  "smart a--" responses from the powers that be. I'm guessing it can be done, but it is very low on the priority list.

It would be very handy to be able to get more than just range channel on the second radio.

All I can suggest, is keep asking for it, maybe someday.

Heh, I posted this a couple months ago.  I like the idea.  I would prefer two tunable radio channels and the option of shutting VOX off.  Vox is actually useful in special events ... not so much in the MA.
