What a crap weekend for football:

1) I hate all Germans.

England vs Germany

Don't mention the war? Don't mention the score, more like.

2) My team (Sheffield Wednesday) slumps to its 7th home defeat in a row this season. Worst home record since 1893.

As for Schumacher - he did well. But F1 is very poor - how telling that the race and the World Championship was decided by a pit stop. Absolute crap.

BTW - why are people so pro-Ferrari? Ferraris as cars are over-priced, poorly built, not particularly reliable.

Give me a TVR anyday of the week.

Without Schumacher, the Ferrari team would be languishing in mediocrity. I prefer the British teams such as McClaren or Williams - they don't have a huge automotive company behind them, and are still at the top.

Dowding ... LOL ... wake up. F1 teams work and pay pilots mainly with sponsor's dollars.

Better you ask yourself why people all around the world are not so pro-british teams.

If Ferrari cars are over priced and not reliable ... why they are probably the most loved sport cars in the world? Look, personally I prefer Porsche sport cars, but I cant read those meaningless things. LOL
"And one of the finest aircraft I ever flew was the Macchi C.205. Oh, beautiful. And here you had the perfect combination of italian styling and german engineering .... it really was a delight to fly ... and we did tests on it and were most impressed." - Captain Eric Brown

Ferrari is so popular because the cars are simply beautiful.  The mid 80's Ferrari Mondial is still one of my favorite cars of all time.  The only other exotics that come close are the Lotus Esprit and the Porsche Carrera (finally).

Pound for pound and dollar for dollar, the Germans seem to make the finest most reliable automobiles.

To tell the truth though, my 93 Nissan 300ZX was as close to an exotic as I personally care to get.  I like the idea of reliability and don't have the need to go 160 mph when everyone else is only doing 60.

Such is life when you get older.  I suppose that will probably change again when I start balding and turn 40.. but that still remains to be seen.

didn't you know Ferrari had such a big F1 history ? oh well

what i like about the Ferrari F1 Team is,
they selling Cars too, and i can buy one
if i have the ca$h   unlike McLaren or

Nonetheless, I remain firmly convinced that Mika Hakkinen will win in 2001.

(Congrats to Schumi's fans)

Don't get me wrong - if someone wants to give me a ferrari, I'll take it!!   Especially the 355.

But I prefer Porsche or TVR. And a nice lotus will do me fine. Or a Jag E-type...

Then again, I like the Ford Capri V6 Cosworth. But I think the best car I'll ever drive or afford will be a Subaru Imprezza RB5 - nice.

BTW - why spend £500,000 on a McClaren F1 roadcar, when you can buy a new spitfire!!They are being scratch built and made to order over here now. £1,000,000 I think is the price - well worth it.
