Anyone remember the song Jim Dandy by LaVern Baker. I love that song. It's so funky and corny. I just heard it on the radio (Spinner on the net actually). Have any of you seen an album with the LaVern Baker version of the song on it?

Hey Ripsnort did you go to EMP when it opened? It was cool. Lot's of music. Once in a lifetime to see that many groups of that great a span of Rock & Roll in one spot. I loved it.

NO, haven't been down there yet...I didn't care much for the exterior Artwork, but hey, wasn't my money!

Listening to Hendrix is still a GREAT way to spend a rainy afternoon in the Great Northwest..(That or Stevie Ray)

LOL yep I'm weird.   What else is there to do. I'd be bored if I wasn't.   It is a groovy song though. It's unique. It's funky.

Forgive us in the Northwest, when it rains for weeks on end, we get kinda goofy! (However, I think Jim is east of the Cascades, so when I think of him, I think of "Pullman, WA"....LOLOLOL!)

Yep. About 80 miles South of Yakavegas. Right next door to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation where the Manhattan Project and the Cold War live on and on and on in half lives.
