Well at least Silva won me back my PPV purchas and more. I'm done buying UFC shows and their B level fights. The Best thing about that PPV was W. Silva and unfortunately it wont be happening with no time between their upcoming fights. UFC torrent time for now on. My moneys going to PRIDE.
It cracks me up how all the new fans think Tito is the man and Shamrock is the complete jerk. UFC hasn't given the real reason why Shamrock hates Tito so their current poster boy doesn't lose face.
For those who haven't follow MMA prior to all the reality show hype Tito started it all being a complete jerk and showing no sportsmanship during his early fights with Shamrocks Lions Den fighters.
Tito lost to Guy Mezger. He then take a last minute replacement spot to fight Guy Mezger again some months later. He then has a shirt made thats " I made Gay Mezger my *****". Of course Shamrock is upset when Guy loses and Tito acts like a total disrespectful jerk . Later on Tito again wins vs Shamrocks guys and wears another shirt that says " I FXXXXX _______ in the XXX"
You don't see that on UFC do you? They just make Shamrock out to me a emotional maniac. And Tito this cool hip fighter.
I actually rooted for Shamrock to pull the upset but he is so programmed in Pancrase old ways of fighting before the UFC was taken over by the BJJ explosion. He never learned or wanted to defend take downs and look what happens vs the take down machine Tito.
What a hype machine UFC is.
