For the entertainment industry, to help create and save hollywood jobs that are going out of country to more business friendly tax environments like Canada (they are giving tax credits to production studios).

Is there a betting line on how long it takes them to figure out they're talking like republicans?

Dang, not even a nibble in defense of tax cuts for big industry to create/save jobs?  Perhaps it's too outragous to believe, maybe a few links will help.

Let me get this right...

We add new tarrifs on Canadian wood because they are "helped by the government"

and now we're gonna "help the industry" so that jobs don't go to canada ?

NAFTA is only good when we make a profit, isn't it ?  :)

yeah....but they are doing it for art which is useful to society in the end because, through that medium, they can reinforce the "right set of values" on america and thus, contibute.

so it balances out it's not like the  greedy profiteering <snicker snicker> of the big old meanie republicans which goes to make 6 fat grey haired white male protestants in giant secret mansions rich and keeps the rest of us in shackles right?

 ;)
