I bought a processor from them that arrived today, only reason I used zipzoomfly was that they had the one I needed and newegg didn't have it.

I wasn't impressed with zipzoomfly at all. It took them two days just to process my damn order, they don't update their tracking information at all. It was supposed to be 2-3 day delivery, it ended up being a 6 day delivery. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with zipzoomfly.

I'm not going to order from them anymore, but my case may just be a fluke.

Nowadays, I buy from NewEgg or BZBoyz.

Newegg here too, for the few things I did buy. They performed brilliantly and I had my stuff way before the predicted shipping time they gave me.

about 2 years ago I ordered parts from newegg and zipzoom on the same evening.

they both shipped out on the same evening from California and it ended up being a tracking race between UPS and FEDEX .. was kinda fun to watch as they went cross country to FL.

the end result was one of them was a day later than the other and the late company actually had the package at a "depot" only 2 hours away but didnt get it to my house untill the following day.

last time i ordered from newegg they now have a distribution center on the east coast and it took longer for them to process and ship than when they shipped from CA.

I would still order from either because they have all the cool stuff.

Once zzf or newegg ships its the carrier they use that you need to track (UPS / FEDEX)

Yeah, newegg has always been fast for me. Proccess and ship it out the same day. But, zipzoomfly decided they wanted to sit on it for a day before they processed my order. From my experience, overal (not just including online ordering) fedex is a bit quicker than ups.
