Yes, the Bostom and A-20G are missing an extra .30 and .50 MG respectively.

Note the gun barrel sticking out of the bottom rear of the plane.

Okay, are you SURE thats an A-20 G?
Also, are both the .30 and the .50 there on the bottom?
And are you SURE that isnt a field modification?

That an A-20J not G.

The J had the frameless glass nose and lower rear gun position.

FYI: 1 of every 10 G models were in fact delivered as J models.

Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Old news. HTC has said before the only reason it's not there is because they don't have any info on what the interior looks like. They left it off for this reason. Some folks a while back supplied some info, but the A20's not going to be redone for a while yet. Maybe when it's upgraded it will get the extra gun.

I don't know about the Boston III, I don't think it had one, but the  Havoc had a ventral gun. The thing is that a lot of crews ditched it in order to save weight (going from memory on the previous threads about this)

I would rather ditch the upper (most of all useless) guns than the ventral one!
Because the A-20 is so fast, the only way you'll get attacked is from it's dead-6.
Since the upper turret can't shoot trough the stabilizer, it's useless 9 out of 10 times for me.

The lower gun wouldn't fire straight back anyways. It would be limited to 40-degrees down angle to about 80-degrees down angle.
