i think it would be cool if we were able to choose the enemy we wanted to engage then have a your eyes & head lock onto it and follow without needing to use key pad #'s

the way it would work is u would toggle through enemy in ur general view with say the tab key, when the enemy u want to engage icon is highlighted u can press another key so your view will lock on following this plane. and u could un-lock by simply pressing the same key.

anyway i jus think it would be neat to follow planes around with a smoother head motion rather than panning around.

WTF WE HAVE PADLOCK VIEW!

please explain.

alright i went to see this padlock view with the tab key but all it does is put a box around a icon.

what im askin for is that when i press a button the game will automatically hands free follow the a plane around with a smooth rolling head view as u were watching a plane fly around you.

AH II has padlock, precisely as you want. There is padlock for enemy planes and padlock for friendlies. I forget the keys now since I use Track IR, but you get exactly the performance you are asking for. The box around the icon indicates the plane that should be padlocked. Sometimes I've had the box appear but without padlock, but then after going through the setup again it eventually works. So read the help and try again.

Best Regards.

Press F11 then hit tab on enemy icon. That should activate padlock.
