Searches & invalid planes
« on: August 25, 2001, 07:15:00 PM »
How does one do a forum search these days. Usta have a button for that but with the new UBB format I can't seem to find it. I have a friend who loaded up AH with the intent of joining us after some offline practice and he always get invalid plane number error whenever he tries to launch a plane. Thanks for any answers to either question.

Lizard3, has he tried online?  the invalid plane number is perhaps related to arena settings? just a guess

I get it too, but it only happens once in a Puke Green Moon. Simply reselect the plane in question and you should be able to fly it. If he still can't, then it's a field setting glitch. Setup > Field Settings. Highlight the field he's at and scroll down the list of A/C. Anything not in bright green isn't available from a given field. Highlight that entry and whack Enable All to fix it.

Thats what I told him, but I thought I'd consult you experts as I haven't really seen that problem. He has a link to this thread, so he should be in good shape forthwith. Thanks guys!
