Yes, it is twice as many colors.  I really don't see a difference.  Anyone else?

Actually its a lot more than twice.  64,000 colors in 16bp, 16,000,000 in 32bp.

Is it? Ok I stand corrected, but my question still stands. Is there a notable viewing difference between the two?

What I notice is the terrain looks much better. (on my monitor at least)  Light shading (glare/shadows) on planes is also MUCH better.  I'm using a v770 Ultra.

Important:  Voodoo users DO NOT try to use 32 bit color.  You will lock your computer after you start AH.  To fix this you will have to delete your video.cfg file in the settings folder and then restart AH.

It also helps blend and smooth the colour merges on planes. Try looking at the La-5FN's wing in 16 then 32. They gray's blend in 32 they just change in 16.

I think the 202 is easily the most stunning aircraft.  The hi-res textures look almost surreal when the sun reflects off of them.  (If only looks could kill, cause its guns sure can't.   )
