Windows Audio Question
« on: December 15, 2006, 03:50:04 PM »
Hey guys... A while back, I got an FM Transmitter. It works well, but Windows does some strange things with it.

When I wish to use the transmitter, I adjust audio properties and select "USB Speakers" as the default playback sound device. Then open up the MP3 player and let it rip.

I've noticed that the transmitter doesn't start transmitting until the MP3 player begins the track.

Here's the odd part. While an MP3 is playing, I changed the default playback sound device back to the soundcard. The windows sounds and what not were played normally, but the MP3 continued to play through the USB speakers... until the next track. Then when the next track began, the USB transmitter shut down and the music began playing through the soundcard.

Here's the question... Is there a way to play MP3s through the USB transmitter while playing everything else through the soundcard?
