yup we do teh high priced party thing here too. but they are fun. there's always a first rate orchestra playing excellent dance music and the alcohol flows. prior to attending said parties we have a huge family meal serving salads, rice, redbeans, black beans, yams yuca, fowl, red meats and pork with desert and coffee following. an hour or so after that we're off to a ball room in some hotel for the party.
