For the English AH players...
« on: January 03, 2007, 09:49:58 AM »
Hi All,

Yesterday my Uncle, Harry Webb past mayor of Havering and longtime labour councilor collapsed while walking his dog, and was taken to the hospital by ambulance in great pain and bringing up blood. Unfortunately, from what relatives who were with him tell us, the hospital failed to take much action at all, and only X-rayed him several hours after he had been admitted. The X-ray, revealed a large mass in his abdomen which was probably due to internal bleeding, but unfortunately he died on the way to the OR. Sadly, he joins a long list of elderly relatives who have passed away due to being low on surgery priority lists, or simply due to NHS negligence. In any event, I'm not writing to criticize socialized medicine,  that would be particularly inappropriate given that Uncle Harry was a great believer in it during his lifetime.

What I am writing about is his dog, a miniature bull mastiff which is now in need of a loving home. The neighbors are currently walking it and feeding it, but do not want the dog themselves. Some members of the family are also looking for homes for the dog, so it may find a new home sometime soon. If you live near Rainham & Havering and would be willing to adopt a new doggie, please get in touch with me.

Thanks.
