Auto takeoff
« on: February 03, 2007, 09:05:13 PM »
I can't takeoff with full throttle. It says autotake enabled. How do I disable it and get it to work to takeoff then?

Make sure that

- your throttle is mapped correctly (options/controls/map controllers): Your throttle should be mapped with "analog inputs throttle 1"
- you did move your thottle lever too when calibrating your stick

I think you now have your throttle sorted if you did as Lusche suggested and I would suggest you leave auto take off enabled until you are comfortable with generally flying around. However, if you do want to turn it off you simply uncheck the box in options/preferences/flight.

With it off you have to start your engine (e) and then cope with all the forces in play during take off such as the swing of the aircraft due to engine torque and prop wash. Just go back to the check box and put it on again if you cannot cope!

BTW the check box options have to be applied before you start a flight. Any changes mid-flight will not happen until you start a new flight.
