and i'm hoping these are related.....my vox is somewhat garbled and....as best as i can describe.....when i "up" in a tank and go to pintle gun... gun is defaulted at 90 degrees to right of turret... if i fire in that direction, from pintle and slowly rotate left.. by the time i hit 180degrees from default position..my machine gun sounds fades to zero as i hit the 180 degree area.. same thing in planes..i cant hear them till they're on my right side even tho i hear my own engine in both ears.
