Armor Tank Sight?? & Gunner Mode
« on: May 07, 2007, 05:15:28 PM »
When you zoom way in on the tank main gun sight you only see a part of the sight.  You can hit the F8 key to allow you to move the sight up or down.  What keys do you use to move the sight picture up and down?

Also the show in the key mapping that you can use different keys to enter
DIRECT GUNNER MODE  kEY Q
LAND GUNNER MODE     KEY W
SEA GUNNER MODE       KEY E
How are these used and what do they do?

The gunner modes are as follows:

Direct gunner mode is the default, you control the gun manually

Land mode (pressing W) works in conjunction with the clipboard map. You bring up the clipboard map, hit W, and then click anywhere on land within gun range and your gun will be automatically given the correct bearing to hit that spot. Remember, you can zoom in to a great degree on the clipboard map to get a very precise firing solution. Once you have clicked the spot on land you want to hit, fire away.

Sea mode I do not use but I am assuming it is the same thing, only with the water on the clipboard map being clickable instead.

Recon, do a search on this forum (help and training) for a thread by fuzeman, where he explained exactly how to fire the 5'' and 8''... chances are that this write up was uploaded even in trainers' site (http://trainers.hitechcreations.com).

Good reading!

Aew yo using the [Bracket] keys to further zoom in and out once on Zoom so the sight can fill the whole screen etc.

This was a great mystery to me how I could be shot with great accuracy by unseen opponents but now mystery solved
