Something I'm playing with
« on: June 06, 2007, 10:39:11 PM »
I was messing around with scenes and angles and this is what came out. It's pretty rough but the story is kinda cool and a few scenes actually played out neat.

It's unfinished and likely won't get finished as it was an experiment. I haven't pumped out a movie in over a year. Still working on ideas for the next big Block Buster  .

Could I get some critiques from the other movie makers here please?

Any body (movie Guys / Gals or not) I welcome any comments / criticisms.

Just a note**  it's on my photobucket account, so if its jerky while playing let it play through (go have a beer/coffee/tea/sodey-pop etc), then replay it..it will be much smoother second time around I promise.

get it here:

stby..linky no worky

thanks folks,

and Cheers!

I saw it. I give it a 5 or 6. I c what ur trying 2 do. U just gotta put something in that keeps u wanting 2 watch the rest of it. Some that gets u "hooked". Keep the idea, its great. The quality was great 2. Camera angels were good, could of been slightly better. Just add some "Spice" to it.

 :aok

Watch this movie. Maybe it will help.

Hey Forrest, Thanks for the review and critique!

I enjoyed the example you gave me, it was very well done.

As I said, I was looking for critique on the angles and scenes, and I got an honest opinion from you. Thanks!

I have a couple of insights into the link you posted as well (don't take me wrong.....it is a pretty damn good piece of film!)

You know, there are only a few of us who make these movies, so whatever we can do to make them better is all good.

Movie making has grown so fast here, It's mind boggling sometimes.

cheers, and thanks again

Wow. I've made some films before. Nothing really interesting. Usally just me in a 8-player arena just messing around. But i did make a "decent" one. Its a P51 vs Nik. No story line. Just a dogfight with music. I ended up dieing.:cry

I need to make some with a story line. Maybe we ought to make a comedy.

Watch this. Bill and Jon (danger attacks at dawn)

Its in French but its halarous.

heh, srry that one really didn't catch my eye.

I spent 15 years of my life in a fighter squadron. Been there, done that..R/L.

The film you posted above had a great story line...that coupled with good scenes and editing made it very entertaining to watch.

You write good stories and are able to put it to film. Not many can do that ...

heh, no worries.

Thought you made those...my mistake.

But..you seem to have a good eye.

I'm kinda like the rest of the Francis Ford Corpolla people here though...I don't collaberate. I do take constructive criticism though.

cheers,

I also agree with Forrest.  Needs some "spice" to it.  It's on the right track.

He's a film I made, with the help of a few people in AH.

160MB File :)

It was fun to make.

Timing with music along with cool scenes and a few kill shots would be great.  Maybe even some slow motion when shooting at the buffs.
Maybe also have some closer shots of the P38s.  Fight scenes are what people are expecting when they see WWII airplanes :)

Hope this helps spark something for you.
Time's fun when you're having flies.
