I have done that a lot, seems it was all mind power. Put it in my mind tha tI wanted to lift off and take flight and before i knew it, I was about 30 feet in the air cruising at close to 30mph

When I have wanted to fly in my dreams I have willed myself to be light and more floated then flew though it was a definite exertion of will, sometimes strenuous. Most times it worked and I usually floated above the tree tops though not much higher. It seems the wind was more a factor in propelling me than my will. I suspect I am bound in my dreams by my knowledge of gravity.

Thats about the same for me, never could get over the tree tops either. Even if I tried, I couldnt do it no matter what

many, many times, just as you say. my favorite dream ever.

i spread my arms so im a crusifix and just hover.

it took me years to figure out that i wasnt dreaming of being a human that could fly, i was dreaming that i was a bird and what felt like my arms were infact wings.
