Last night I was up in the MWA for a while.
I had a few fun fights with a small group of Knights whom I won't identify but they can chime in if they want to. These guy's aren't the uber-sticks in the game but decent mid-tier pilots. I'm not uber either but I like to at least think of myself as above average.
What was supposed to start out as a duel between myself and one of them initially turned into a 3 on 2 (three of them plus a countryman of mine out for revenge).
On a later sortie I asked my countyman to stay out of a fight I was going to have with a Spit, setting up our original duel. My countryman said "If he comes after me I'm going to have to fight him". I said "He wont" and we got our original duel in. Thank you countyman for letting us fight.
Soon after it was me on three. I won some and lost some but was having fun with these guys until one of them re-upped and HO'd me. I came back on 200 and basically said, "c'mon, there's no need to HO when you've got a 3 on 1 advantage". At that point they even offered to hold back, taking me on in a series of 1 on 1's. I told them I didn't mind 3 on 1 as long as they didn't HO. That was the last HO I saw from them even though I flew straight at a couple of them later on just to see what they would do. Thank you guys for making the fight at least a little more fair.
The point of this post, other than to these guys for some fun fights is to say that, this type of "controlled environment" and gentlemanly behavior is something you'll never find in the LWA's. With only about 9 total players in MW I had a blast.
Alas, I had to leave the fighting in MW to go do some milkrunning in the LWA's.
